Established in 1994, Rio Grande was purchased in 1998 by Lynn Atkinson, a 4th generation trader of Native American Arts and Crafts. Relying on decades of knowledge, expertise and successful business practices, Lynn and his experienced team transformed the small pottery shop into the extraordinary showroom and gallery it is today.

Our jewelry showroom features one of the largest selections of  Navajo, Santo Domingo and Zuni jewelry, ranging from simple post earrings to impressive squash blossoms. Whether you are buying for a single location or multiple stores, Rio Grande will meet your needs.

Our pottery gallery offers the best from local pueblos, including Acoma, Jemez, Navajo, Santo Domingo, Santa Clara and more. Ceramics, storytellers, wedding vases, seedpots and figurines line the shelves, and can be taken with you or shipped to your location.
